I am seriously contemplating quiting street art forever. Why? Because of all the haters.

I'm damn sick of them.

I'm sick of spending countless hours buying sticky paper, cutting it, drawing stuff on them, putting them up around my town, then having some douchebag rip them off.

I have never seem them, and I do not understand them. What is the mentality of these people? What the hell goes on in their cretacious skulls when they see a sticker beautifying an otherwise ugly trash can and they peel it off? Why do they do it? Do they seriously stop walking in the middle of the road, see my stickers, then rip them off? Why does my sticker bother them? Why can't they just leave it there?

I mean, I can't imagine myself walking on the street, minding my own business, then laying my eyes on a random sticker, then stopping for 5 minutes or so to try and peel it off. It's useless, it's stupid, yet they keep doing it. I just don't understand.

So like I was saying, i'm sick of spending time and money creating stickers, then having some asshole peel them off. The best part is that I've had stickers that lasted only an hour or so. Sure, I have stickers that are up for over 5 months now, but they are very few compared to all the stickers that are ripped off the same day I put them.

So, yeah, this whole sticker thing has started to feel pretty useless now. I just don't see a point anymore in creating street art, knowing that it's going to be gone the next day.


I just don't know. What do you think about all this? Is it worth going forward with this?
